You might want to look at this D-Tek kit from Petra's I think the Fuzion WB is a lot better...But either one will be fine...We can piece you together a rig for around the same price if you would rather go custom with it...Kit or custom you still have to put it together same difference.....

I did look at the D-Tek, but it was "out of stock". Moot point anyway, since I ordered the 220 apex. If this goes well, I will most likely want another system later.

Thats a good kit you ordered anyway...I just really don't like the fact that you need to bow the Apogee base with an O-Ring to get it to work properly...

Here is some good stuff you migh t like to read it will help you with theory and set-up...And you can always yell at us to if you need help...

Is there a link as to what "you need to bow the Apogee base with an O-Ring to get it to work properly...
" actually means? I am sure I will be asking for advice! Thanks again!

No I don't think we have a link here...You might want to try it before you bow it...Once its bowed you cant undo it...There is an included O-Ring in the kit that you put around the outside base of the block and it bows it slightly so that when its mounted it makes better contact with the IHS...So if it doesn't cool well just yank it off and put the O-Ring on it and put it back on...I'd give it a few days to get bleed well and the TIM cured first then decide....

The Apex is installed & working, no leaks. After WB install, I removed it to check contact. The small string of Ceraminque I applied covered the IHS. The 2 RAD fans @ FS would keep you up nites. The main benefit I see so far, is that Temps under Load increased less then with the V1. I will let it run awhile then compare to the V1 at 411FSB for which I have a screenshot. BTW, the supplied clamps for the WB are NG. Spacing is to tight. I ordered replacements from FrozenCPU. Thanks again for your Help!

OK, I am impressed. At the same FSB(411), Vcore, & RAD Fan RPM, 50% load, the Apex is running 6C cooler then the V1. Ran it up to 440 FSB, Temps changed 1C. Nice!
