Quick Question

Thread Starter
How do I get Windows XP to not automatically log in?

I tried creating another account but it still does it. Windows XP help tells me to go to User Accounts and click the Advanced tab but I don't see one?

Please help!

I should probably explain it better: If I log off, then I can see the boot screen. But if I shut down and restart, it automatically logs in

edit: yes I have

Attempt to spell out words and use punctuation. It makes everyone else's stay here much better not having to decipher your post. Thanks and enjoy it.

Control Panel, User Accounts, Uncheck Use Fast User Switching and uncheck use welcome screen. It will be a window like you saw in prior Windows installations, in color...

If that doesn't work, just log out each time. WindowsKey+L is you want a shortcut..
