7950 overclocking (sort of)

Thread Starter
my question is what will render better results overclocking the ram more or the GPU on my 7950.

I know that overclocking a GPU is a balance between the two but which one will give better benchmarks and real results in game ?

right now I am running the BFG 7950 at stock speeds but have had it as high stable as 600core/750mem

but I have seem many people with a much lower core and higher mem and it got me wondering which would perform better?

Thanks in Advance

whoops I think I may have posted this in the wrong place I am sorry please delete if I did

I'm confused, why don't you just overclock both to the max?

But if you only want to overclock one, do the memory a lot and the core a little if you can.

The memory clock seems to do a lot on mine, and when I can move the core frequency up it does a good amount too. The memory is more apparent though.

Side note: Whats the record for best 7950GT overclock? I think I may be able to nab it.
