Guy's I'am needing help finding a better mobo for under $100.00
The must be socket 939 and able to scale above 250MHz.My ram is2GB(1GB x 2) PC3200 DDR400MHz 184-pin Corsair.My graphics card is a BFG Tech 7950GT 512MB OC.And my PSU is a Corsair 520w modular.

I'am wanting to go with a Opty 165 or 175 cpu. Please, give me mobo's that are still on the market.I asked someone esle and all four mobo's that he gave me aren't even available anymore!LOL..............My PC case is a Antec 900.

The X2 brisbane's will OC as high/higher than a 939 opteron (around 2.8 to 3.2 ghz on average) and costs the same PLUS you can use AM3 cpu's when they're released. For the same/cheaper

AM2 Setup = $233
Biostar 550 $79

brisbane x2 3600+ retail $69

G.skill 800 mhz 2 gig $85

939 option = $230

AMD Opteron 165 = $130 + $100 mb

BUT ITS THE SAME PRICE FOR THE CPU,MB + RAM AS WHAT YOU WANT TO SPEND ON JUST THE CPU/MB

Plus you get DDR2, 800 mhz, and 2 gig sticks

But its your $$ if you want to spend more on outdated tech its your dollar not mine

Don't forget the brisbane's clock as good/better and you'll have better memory and a higher oc and when amd releases am3 you can use the new processors

I'd suggest putting a few more $$ worth and getting the AM2 Brisbane set up. Easiest AMD 3.0GHz OC I've ever done.

Otherwise try to find a DFI Ultra-D. Best S939 OCing board for the price, anywhere.
