That is some pretty fancy cooling 'ware...

You might want to take a look at the D-Tek Fuzion also...

Personally I don't think that using liquid to cool the RAM or the HDD will pay off.

If you are running all those components on the same loop you will be adding extra length to the loop as well as more angles. Additionally I think that a loop of that nature will vary in I.D. along it's length, thereby creating resistance points... not so bueno.

Cooling HDs and RAM is a waste of money. If you case has decent air flow they should not be that warm to begin with.

ok see this is why i asked, im new but i did read up so learned a few things but still dont have the experience like some of you. 1st Syrillian thx that block looks good i like it better so probably gonna get that now, plus i likes the gpu block they make also so gonna get those as well. n what u mean by creating resistance points? Apollo4g, i read that thread right now, and everyones sayin it happend since he used water. im actually gonna use this.. http://www.xoxide.com/fluid-xp-extre...lant-blue.html so i shouldnt have that problem. imnotzoso, yea i was thinkin that the HDD's werent gonna be to useful at all but thought it would look sexy lol yea with air they still pretty warm, 95-105 F with 2 80mm fans directly in front of them. so its safer n better to be running on it cold than warm. n the ram, im constantly running a lot of **** since i like 2 multi task, and the ram area is the 2nd warmest area in my comp since no fans there, so thought it would look and be nice 2 have water cooling for that also. plus as soon as i start learning best ways to overclock n etc. im going to be ocing my cpu, gpu's, and my rams.

When I stated "resistance points", I was using sloppy terminology.

A point (or points) in a closed loop that diminishes in diameter will cause a physical bottleneck. This in turns causes a slowdown of flow (less thermal disipation), and/or added stress to the systems pump (more internal heat).

I would dare to say that in some situations (stock and low ambient) the difference might be nominal, but seeing as the majority of the members here want to push their systems it is unlikely that many would endorse such an action.

...not conducive to high-perormance liquid cooling.

say "ira-k" 3 times...

P.S. I can't comment on the fluid... I use distilled water and non-corrosive anti-freeze.

sorry... I was being too vague.

ira-k is a member here that specializes in liquid cooling.

If you browse to the Liquid cooling forum you will find many an informative post by him.

I am surprised he hasn't dropped in on this one...perhaps we missed him.

If you are in need of some no-nonsense advice, then track him down.
