Like i said im working on them lol but here we go:

Ambient in my room is ~80-90F day and night, im not kidding im burning up in here (no AC)

@4.0Ghz 1.6v
50C idle
58C load

On an Asus P5B-E. Will post new temps with the P5LD2 board when it arrives!

Its a bad comparison I know...my BigWater SE was doing 30 idle @stock during the winter, 40 idle @4Ghz, 60 load @4Ghz

Need to get my ambient down, so...PROJECT DIY HIGH PERFORMANCE AIR CONDITIONER BEGINS TOMORROW! STAY TUNED!!!!!!!!

UPDATE!

Just installed the P5LD2 Deluxe board instead of the P5B-E!

Idle went down to 40C (in my extremely hot room)

Turns out the P5B-E was warped so I was getting 50C Idle!

Awesome! a 10c drop is ALWAYS a good thing -- Ive never seen a mobo warp, thats impressive in a random way.

Ive got a new shiny p5b-deluxe so I hope I run into that problem (Ill be using my apogee though)

as in the board wasnt perfectly flat around the cpu area, and even after 20-30 reseating attempts and isopropyl alcohol cleanings and as5 reapplications, and lapping the cpu and lapping two different water blocks and kicking myself yet still idling at 50

but now its all good :-D the new board was perfect it seems
