Coolermaster R80 or R120 to cool GPU?

Thread Starter
I'm thinking of buying a coolermaster r80 or r120 to cool my x1950 pro as its getting quite hot with its overclock. Do you think it would work if i didn't connect it to my cpu and mounted it in the case somewhere whilst including a gpu waterblock in the setup?

The R80 and the R120 is strictly for a CPU.......get a Zalman VF-900 and and some AS5 and you will be set.
