Building a new PC C2D E4X00 series vs. E6X00 series.

Thread Starter
I'm may get a new PC soon and I was wondering which dual core processor is best for overclocking? I have heard that the E4300 achieves the same performance as an E4400, but can the E6X00 series perform much better? Also, since we're on the topic, what SLI boards achieve the best overclocks?
