Who can do the nicest game? <----- Thats the fight about right now.

Next generation graphic is just to good for the curret generation gpus.

ATi owned DX9
Nvidia will own DX10
Just like AMD owned before and now Intel does..

The market is a beautiful thing.

Safe to say I made a good purchase of my 8800GTSl.

Eventhough I'm not an ATI fan boy, I don't doubt both ATI and Nvvidia have a lot of driver tweaks to work on with the latest and greatest gaming software!
I don't doubt that both will improve in time because of that aspect.
Thought I not play the doom and gloom so many seem to kick dirt on so early on in the development of the DX10/Game issue!

Hah, yeah…other then mismatch comparison the first thing u see when u turn that game on is "Relic" then "NVIDIA"....no doubt CoH is optimized to run better on NVIDIA cards.

Someone stated before on another thread that most early generation DX10 games would most likely run better on 8800s because they have been the only DX10 cards available for developers to work with for months.

Perhaps you should all inform yourselves of the entire DX10 story regarding the GPU companies:
http://www.overclock.net/news-overcl...rk-fiasco.html

Each company will give incentives to game developers if they make changes to their coding that improves performance for their company's GPU solutions. Both ATI and nVidia have done it, and it makes sense that nVidia has done more of it for their DX10 solutions than ATI since they've had their cards released for a much longer timespan comparatively. Furthermore, if you read that article, you will learn that at least ATI is being more honest about the game coding effects on their competitor's solutions, releasing statements towards making any benchmark fairer for both sides.

Nvidia CLEARLY sabotaged ATI's image by working hard to get CoH running smoothly on their gpu's so that once released it would stomp on ATI's pretty much beta dx10 cards(give them a year to work on the code for CoH and i would bet that ATI would come out on top)

Also anyone that was complaining about ATI not having great drivers out of the bag is ignorant. They didn't delay for drivers, it was spent trying to make the actual card better not the drivers better. Once the card is out that is when they are 100% focused on drivers....

Oh gosh, that's real bad: http://www.legitreviews.com/article/507/3/

Well, just get a game where the engine favorites an ATI card and not so much on an nVidia and we're back to square one.

Game engine where OpenGL is more present.

Yes, OWNED!

They had more time to work on whatever they needed to for the release. I'm tired of hearing excuses from every single ATi owner or fan, it's getting ridiculous..
