The one thing I like about my 680i board (Aside from sli support and the ability to hit 500+ FSB) is that you can overclock the ram and cpu separately in unlinked mode. Thats something that the 965 and 975 intel chipset boards can't do.
And lets not forget the ability to easily run ram stable at 1T, again something the intel chipset boards can't do.
nVidia chipset need to run a 1T in order to compete with Intel, people at XS stated that, I wouldn't personally know it because I doubt I'll ever buy an nForce but I do read about motherboards for Intel CPUs. But at XS is what some people have stated.
