Im running my Q6600 G0 @ 3.6 and 1.45V
Load is: 50C
idle is : 38C
room temp is: 26C

Hmmm really?
I was hoping for 4.0 or higher

3.6 is alright, but the chip wont post at 4.o, im guessing my 965 chipset is holding me back.

i doubt you really need that, and also dont think it'll help you OC much further.
only if you need the extra x16 lanes for something... 8800GTs with hacked SLI drivers or so.. which i doubt. Blitz is nice and should run cooler. cheaper too.

if X48 doesnt offer significantly more than X38 i'll probably go Blitz too.

26c idle and 47c load.

Yup i totally agree, im just waiting for the majority of all these new chipsets to come out.
Let them benchmark all of them, then ill go for the one i think that is most worth it.

That Blitz is really nice, ive had my eye on it for a while, if the X48 chipsets are no better ill just go with a Blitz.
