there is a problem with gaming lappys... its the temp. issue.. i have a toshiba and it manages most games pretty easily.. but if i use it for many hours at a stretch, it gets dam hot...so hot you cant even touch the processor area!

I never usually game. But I will need to test that out soon to see how hot my Lappy gets.

Not all laptops are equal. My Killernotebook (clevo m570u) has 0 issues on temps, even gaming all day long on a 7950GTX and overclocked fsb. Clevo even has a nice Fn-2 option to throw the fans on high if you are worried about it and don't mind the noise... I've never had to use the fans on high either.....

And btw; if you are extremely concerned about it, Killernotebooks also manufactures a new bottom plate, and physical aluminum fin heat sink gpu cooler if you want it on there.

Just ran across this too... MSI has a new santa rosa laptop. It has a turbo button that when pushed, does a 20% overclock to the fsb.
