Error mesage on bootup makes no sense - Page 2

not only removing the battery, but you gotta move the cmos jumper as well, and possibly have the psu unplugged. the cmos jumper is a little piece of plastic that should be on the mobo, it is near 3 pins, it is currently covering two of them, unplug the psu, take out the battery, switch the jumper to cover the other two pins, well one will be the same, and then reinsert the battery and plug it back in.

so this computer never had a floppy drive and know your getting a floppy drive error ? then i highly doubt its a floppy drive problem, you always have the option of buying one for like $5 just to be sure.

i dont know what the hell was happening but i unplugged my external hard drive and it booted right up i then proceeded to disable the floppy drive in the device manager

the irony being i have probably 5 floppy drives in my closet i just didnt feel like plugging them in , oh on a side note
