New form factor, DTX

While standard ATX boards are 9.6 inches by 9.6 inches, the standard DTX board would be manufactured at approximately 9.54 inches by 7.9 inches.
There is also a proposal for a "micro" version of the DTX board, which would measure about 7.9 by 6.7 inches. Both versions of the DTX would come with two expansion slots.

And just like BTX, this will never see the light of the day.

They can shrink all they want, but things are getting bigger and hotter. Well, at least not for us will work around here.

Meh...I really like the upside-down ATX used in a lot of Lian-Li's.

Ya, mounting ATX boards like that took away the main selling point of BTX.

No, no no! BTX is a completely different form factor than ATX. Lian-Li just innovated on a design by flipping the ATX board 180 degrees. BTX has many different components and a completely different mounting setup than ATX.

DTX? If it only has 2 expansion slots, it'll never see the light of day IMO unless it becomes a drop-in replacement for Micro-ATX.
