e2160 & e2140?

Hey everyone...I am new here.

Have you guys heard about the Intel 2 series chips?

Are they Pentium or Core 2 Duo?

I saw an ad and I'm lost.

Where can I get one?

What board is good for overclocking this chip?

I believe they are the "new" Pentium D's.

AFAIK, only difference between them and "true" 266FSB Core 2 Duo chips are that they dropped the FSB to 200 and chopped the cache to 1MB from 2/4MB.

So how do they perform?

The Pentium D wasn't a success at all I don't think...is it better than a Pentium D?

Is it a good overclocker like a C2D?

What MOBO's support it and are good for OC?

They are very good overclockers (3.x ghz atleast) and as stated before, are the same as a core 2 except the fsb and cache reductions. They fit in the lga 775 socket like core 2's. At their max OC, they beat the highest core 2 duo slightly, and for the money, nothing can beat the performance.
