That was connected to a slave drive that I unhooked before the pics were taken - it was sitting on top of the case. I doubt that it will be hooked up again. I'm seriously thinking about getting up to date with 2005 and going SATA

Ah the joys of painting

This one wasn't ready to paint, as I found out when I painted it. The way the handles had been mounted had left lots of little dents in the top that my careful application of body filler missed completely. So now I'm taking the shotgun approach.

As for this particular panel, I'm convinced that it has become self-aware and just before it goes after Sarah Conner its going to get me. This will be the third time I've had to paint it.

And finally the front plate for my Audigy2. I'm planing something special for this piece, and will be unveiling it last.

Dude, will you paint my case? lol

I love that look, it's so freakin' cool! Keep it up man!

Oh, I just saw the front bezel (I think) the Green, blue, and chrome look AWESOME!!!!

Another little update. I began the polishing today. It's going to take probably the rest of the week to finish. Here's about ten minutes worth:

The finest Home Depot sells is jewelers rouge, and I'm debating whether or not it would be worth it to crack the package I bought. The pic shows the effects that plain white rouge has.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone, it is always appreciated

I've switched gears back to painting - once I get all the color done I can just start clearcoating everything. All the paints I picked have a week cure time before coating with anything else. And if I polish the frame right now I might have to polish it again in a week, so for now I'm doing the emery polish and saving the white rouge until I'm ready to go.
