Mine never is, and the £240 226BW is probably my best bet in terms of getting a decent 22" monitor, shame we have to pay so much more than everyone else

You can get it for £225 of pcworld.co.uk if you reserve online. But it is the C panel - which is fine if you use a DVI connection.

If you want it for gaming, it's ideal

Hmmm now that's interesting

From the reviews here, £15 for the 'S' panel which is guaranteed to be good, or take the discount for the 'C' panel, which is supposed to be slightly lesser of a panel?

HmmmmmmMmmmmMm

Play.com no longer have 's panel' in their description

My guess is that all new monitors are now the C panel..

If you want an S panel you might have to go through a lot of crap to get it. I had to drive 2 hours both ways to a remote Circuit City to get one -- and they couldn't confirm in advance what panel it was too. Quite the gamble, but I came out lucky >_>

(my mom almost killed me for having to drive that far LOL)

Was there really a difference though?

BTW... 226BW is selling at Buy.com for $280 AR.
Once again...

Who knows >_> lmao. I'm sure both panels perform great -- but some people are really picky and were complaining about the A panel having too much blue and not as bright. I have no idea how the C panel compares.
