Don't do it. You are increase power to the slot... not the GPU or memory.

Card power is supplied by slot but.... power to the GPU and memory are regulated by components on the card.

You can increase voltages by flashing a new BIOS or... creating new lines or changing the resistence on the PCB.

I think i may need to install XP or try Window7 to use NiBiTor with its unsigned driver, so I can read the current 8600 bios. NVFlash does not work in Vista, unfortunately.

How can I find a safe voltage for 8600GT? Is there a max safe limit?
