I have about 2,600 rollover minutes (after a year) with 4,000 a month. The rollover plan has saved my family a LOT in over-use charges.

People, stop complaining about the battery life. The average phone gets under 300 minutes of talk time, thats 5 hours. ...However, I honestly doubt the iPhone will have a 6-8 hour talk time, because it takes a lot of power to make phone calls. Unless they are using some sort of super secret LI-ion battery, I doubt talk time will be more than 3 hours.

The company was Cisco. They had an iPhone, or "Internet phone" product.

This is why you got to love and even fear Apple. They make excellent, intriguing, exciting, robust and complete solutions that shake the established foundations of corporate and public technology. They are definitely game changers!!!!

There have been a lot of polls and Apple and AT&T have both gotten over a million people EACH asking about the iPhone and showing interest in getting one. It's projected that 10 million will sell by the end of 2008, which is just 1% market share. Look at the iPod. About 1/5 people own an iPod.

Should be interesting to see what happens when it comes out. I give props to Apple; They've really become a hip, trendy company. Not to mention wildly successful.
Yes they have

I viewed all the commercials and both the pictures and commercials are showing 11 icons. Not sure where you see a 12th icon.

Yes, but then you are carrying around two items and will look stupid holding a BlackBerry and typing on this lame little plastic buttons that resemble a keyboard.

Cingular's EDGE technology enables true third generation wireless data services with data speeds typically three times faster than those available on GSM/GPRS networks. Based on GSM, the worldwide standard for cellular communications, EDGE is a software enhancement for Cingular's general packet radio service (GPRS) data network that can support peak data rates up to 170 Kbps with average rates of 75-135 Kbps. This is more than three times as fast as the dial up standard but not quite as fast as DSL, cable or T1.

The difference between 2.5g and 3g are not speeds. It's services.

haha... That is part of my job. Mostly, I am just customer/sales/tech support. I don't try to sell stuff. People call and want to buy it and I place the orders for them. That's my job.

But yeah, I sort of HAVE to support the product and company I work for. Otherwise, I'd be miserable, lol.

Even then, however, I still think it's a great product. I really do. And I want to get one for myself.. with my 25% discount =P

And I have a 15% discount for friends and family. Keep that in mind! You guys are practically family!
