If you answered before sorry I didn't see.
iPhone has a longer battery life. Much more memory. Better OS. Better touchscreen, if the 8525 has one, can't tell if it does. Better GUI.

Same price, it looks like.

8525 isn't a bad phone. In fact, it's a great phone. It really just depends on what you are looking for. There are many more pros to definitely get someone to buy an iPhone over the 8525. So, personal choice pretty much.

I wouldn't mind having one, but might get kind of annoying after awhile. But I definitely will not be buying it anymore time soon, not till it goes down in price.

It will probably drop in price once competitor's come out with their special phones, and that's still a maybe. It probably won't drop in price TOO much. Maybe 50 bucks or so. A lot of "smart phones" that are competing with the iPhone sell for like 700-900 bucks, which is why some people see the iPhone as a bargain. Depends on who you are.

Criminals today are not writing code to garner "greetz" from their 3l337 crew; they're targeting attacks aimed at the most profitable parts of the Web. Apple may not enjoy the 90 percent saturation of Windows, but of that 5 percent it does hold dear, the relative income of the Apple user base may be enough to finally make Apple a big target.
Quote:
And of the percentage that purchases the very first iPhone with its two-year contract to AT&T, that too is a financially attractive group for criminals to attack. Given that they wouldn't want to risk compromising the iPhone with gnarly malware infections, Apple might see the light. Apple should stop attacking the messengers--the researchers--and change, as did Microsoft, by working with them.
I just found this somewhat funny (because of the 1337 comment) and insightful because Apple can't keep thinking it is invincible forever. People never wrote Mac viruses because it wouldn't affect many people. However, an iPhone virus or malware actually sounds more appealing.

That is a bit scary. I am not even sure what Apple has done to protect the phones from malware, and having the phone automatically connect to WiFi when available (and when the user is actually trying to use the interwebz) makes it that much easier for a person to be able to possible upload to it.

So, like I said, scary. We'll see what happens. Maybe Apple has put software onto the phone to protect it. I am not entirely sure.

Hackers never wrote viruses for macs because they figured mac users are already suffering enough. Plus they don't have enough power to make it worthwhile as zombies

Only like $15,000 too, right?

How many people have top of the line macs compaired to DIY and non-mac boxes?
