Trust me, I love Windows. I prefer it over Apple, but the fact is is that this iPhone has really changed my mind about Apple.

I don't want to be called a fanboy for defending the product I support. I still love my Windows XP and will always have a PC. I have to use OSX here at work and I am already tired of it! haha

But seriously, the iPhone truly is innovative and you're going to see.

sorry get your facts right.

In computing, a mouse (plural mice or mouses) functions as a pointing device by detecting two-dimensional motion relative to its supporting surface. Physically, a mouse consists of a small case, held under one of the user's hands, with one or more buttons. It sometimes features other elements, such as "wheels", which allow the user to perform various system-dependent operations, or extra buttons or features can add more control or dimensional input. The mouse's motion typically translates into the motion of a pointer on a display.

The name mouse, coined at the Stanford Research Institute, derives from the resemblance of early models (which had a cord attached to the rear part of the device, suggesting the idea of a tail) to the common eponymous rodent.[1]

The first integrated mouse — shipped as a part of a computer and intended for personal computer navigation — came with Xerox Star 1981.

The phone was created to be used to communicate, yes, but doesn't the iPhone do that as well? It lets you take pictures, movies, etc, etc, find places, and then go to them and then send pictures and all that stuff to your friends and family. Communication comes in many forms and the iPhone lets you take advantage of those other forms. And while they are at it, they throw in some great features that have not been seen. Just wait and see... Millions of people have already subscribed to both AT&T and Apple newsletters just to get more information on this phone, and the company is expect huge amounts of traffic on the phones once the device is released. The sales are going to boom. This is HUGE.. there was no hype for the iPod, but Apple has made a huge name for itself and now everyone is talking about the iPhone.

Yes, and it is a joke. This is the same kinda thing as the PS3 launch, where there was a ton of people wanting it, and others hating it. Except i'm the hater this time because the $600 is CLEARLY not worth it this time. You can a number of the newer pda's for a 3rd of the price and do simple tricks to do anything that the Iphone is holding up it's sleeve. Everything that is alreadly known about is in almost all the other new pda's

True. Communication is not just verbal, but it is the movement of information from one place to another, so if that is the movment of audio, video, audio/video or other, than it fulfills the "communication" purpose. And music is another way to communicate. And internet browser? communicating. Of course, i have all that on my phone right now, but it cost 800. And it's not availabe in the US. So the higher UK prices had something to do with that. and VAT.

That's cool that you don't want to spend six-hundred dollars on a phone. Let's stop calling it a joke, we get your point.

Oldboy doesn't want an iPhone cause he doesn't want to spend 600. Please, state something else now; that one's tired.

You have to wait. More and more information will come out as it gets closer to launch date. I am not at liberty to discuss it.

Tell me why people would pay $300 for the Chocolate flip phone when all it really is just the same kind of phone as every other one just with a sleek design and some extra MP3 controls.

This phone is different. It's advanced. It's got features that you won't see in other phones for months and months after its release because the other companies are going to have to try and play catch up with Apple's innovation.

The only think this phone can't do that the iPhone does is have an annoying name, an arrogant manufacturer, and a blind customer base. Well, OK, this phone can have a blind customer base, but not even close to what the iPhone's customer base will look like.

Doesn't mean you can't enjoy the iPhone. Go for it, have fun. I just don't want it and I don't think it will sell well.
So are you saying you want a computer that doesn't really do anything? Because that's what you think they were invented for? Actually, they were invented to do mathematical operations faster than people could.

Too many Apple Haters. I mean, who actually takes time out to hate a company that doesn't even care about them? LOL.

Dude...no offense, but as an objective reader who cares very little either way about this whole topic, you should perhaps follow through Or be a little less defensive.

I think it's to expensive (not to say it's not worth the price tag - it's got an amazing feature set, I just can't afford it. )
