stay away from micro atx and micro stuff, unless your in a game then you need some 1337 micro

Ok, so PSU wise you're fine.

But still, since the Gigabyte board is only $99.99 (and it's a GREAT overclocker), I'd highly recommend an ATX case for you.

And to answer your question: of the two cases you mentioned, I think the first one might actually fit the 8800.... there seems to be clearance underneath the hdd brackets

just because a psu says 600w doesn't mean it acutally handles 600 watts.

a 600 watt coolmax psu can get owned by a 500 watt silverstone psu

i beleive the 8800gts will fit in the micro fly case, i've seen a 8800 gtx fit in a micro fly case, but it needed some elbow grease

No I understand I have been wanting to switch to ATX but ATX is so expensive, I have been trying to find one that is core 2 duo compliant that was good quality.

Since it's SLI certified, I would assume it can handle a single 8800GTS.

It might not be the best brand (no idea what it is... ) But in any case it should work fine for him.

I've highly considered moving away from mATX. I'm on a budget so any recommendations on rebuilding for ATX would be great.
