gonna mod my old mobo need some help before i do it

ok, so i recently found a website that will allow me to solder in using wires and pins and other stuff. it looks ok in difficulty, i will just need to be very relaxed and concentrated when i am working.

it says i will need a few things, one of them will be a 10k resistors, do you think i can pick these up at a local radio shack? and what kind of wires should i use to connect the pins and all this stuff. i was thinking about cutting up an old floppy and using the wires from there. will this work?

heres a link so you can take a look at it and tell me if its worth it. i have lots of free time and this really wont cost me any money since i have lots of 370 processors and jumpers.

Yes you can pick up some 10k pots at your local radio chack or electronics store, try to get the little blue ones, looks like a little blue box with a flathead turning nob on top.
I would use any really small wire cant think of the gauge number but anything pretty small should work.

I also would recommend doing some practicing on a old circuit board from something, something that has a similer size to what your gonna be modding that way you can practice a little bit before you do your mobo. Good luck
