have i overclocked right ?
all i did was from bios fsb to 240 and vid to 1.500


i also dont know to to see if its stable or not
so far the cpu went to 100 usage and it shut down :S

what socket is it? 754? 939? more details please like mobo/stock volts / socket

also get orthos or prime95 and try to get 20min stable

sorry cant look at pic (at school) sites blocked. so sorry if it shows the info i need =\\


im going to assume am2 or 939 so what you will do is lower your ht to 4x or 3x depending on how far you plan on going just remember to keep your ht below 1000mhz or it will become unstable .

if you cant get to far try loosening the timings on your ram as well as decreasing the rams speed.

get orthos and run that like he said if it runs without errors for 15-20 min i would say your good if it crashes again i would try to get your HT link more towards 1000 that might make it more stable

Mo, .. go to userCP at the top of the page, click on it, and fill out your specs. If you don't know what hardware you have , here's a program called BELARC ADVISOR. Install it and run it. It will produce a report listing your hardware and software. Or google a program called EVEREST.

Folks here won't be able to help until they have more information, which yuou can provide by doing the above.
