My results with 4200+

Thread Starter
First off i hate this chip, i could go up to 2.8 like it was nothing on my venice 3200 lol. Well that aside After hours of messing with i could not get the machine to run stable past 2.5ghz. I dont know why with HTT at about 1100 and fsb 236 it just wouldnt last more then a 1 min in orthos with both cores being tested. I also had to bump the vcore to 1.4. Alot of the times it wouldnt get into windows and i hit bsod. It took me an hour to get into windows at 2.6ghz. So this is what i got and it seems relaly stable for now i will run longer test at somepoint. If anyone has any suggestions to get it higher i would gladly take them.

Oooh, it's a 939.. my bad

Either way, keep the HT speed under 1000mhz and see where you can get then.

i didnt mess with the nb voltage. I think im just gonna leave it where i have it now cause it doesnt seem happy with me at the moment. I got a couple bsod after the last time i tried tweaking so im gonna wait a day or to see if i get anymore or if i can get rid of them.
