I got a Bad Axe 1 myself (I did the mod, but I still wonder if I did the mod correctly since some of the options are locked to me; maybe they are only accessible with Extreme edition CPUs) and even after tweaking the settings forever, all I could achieve was a 2.4Ghz overclock (from a 1.8 e6300)

It seems no matter what i do, beyond this every voltage increase or anything else just won't increase the clock rate. I even wonder if the CPU really is overclocked or if it's simply ****ed up...

Anyways there's no way i'll be able to know right now since i'm in Vancouver for the next 2 months and my computer is at my parent's house in Quebec... +___+

By the way, can you tell us exactly what your RAM is? like what model and brand?

Corsair Value Select 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) and its Dual Channeled as well.

It was $160 when I bought it but its $65 now, crazy!

I read somewhere that 30% or 50% increases was all that were capable of being performed on this motherboard...

Oh I know, I paid mine $220 CAN and now they sell for like $75 CAN; DDR3 is upon us you know It's not bad memory, it just won't overclock very much so don't stress it too much because resetting the BIOS on a Bad Axe is tiresome...

Anyways, I'm not really a pro overclocker either, but your RAM and your CPU frequencies have to be kept to a 1:1 ratio in order to get the best out of your overclock.

Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong on this?

Oh, and go take a look in the Advanced tab in the BIOS and see if you can access the default configuration override tab It should look like this:

Look at the previous page if you feel like modding the board. Good luck!

Can't change the values for the processor... debug mod will fix this?
