No it's not. If you like it on the xbox then you'll like it on the pc.

The game is good, especially the one liner "sir, im going to finish this war". The single player version is EXACTLY the same as the xbox version. The online multiplayer is nothing to brag about, like my earlier quote. EVERYONE LISTEN!!! Halo 2 Vista is a DirectX 9c game, NOT DX 10! It ran quite well on my setup, which is DX 9. If you are looking for a good story, get the game, as well as #1 if you like for 20 bucks. If you are looking for a good FPS online game, get counter strike source.

Oh, and do note.. The OEM version of Vista memorizes your motherboard and will not install/run_after_install on another motherboard, the Retail version will install on multiple machines, just dont get caught running the same OS on 2 machines at once!!

Halo 2 was a disappointment for me...dual wielding was ****. Also, they took away the full-auto assault rifle...

Oh well. If you like it, then ya...you gotta get Vista.
