£2500/US$5000 Budget, need some serious advice

Thread Starter
Following on from my recent thread I have more then doubled my budget to £2500 ~US$5000 but there are some conditions. I have never spent this amount on a High End system before and it needs to last 2 years or more and able to play DirectX 10 for that time at 1920x1200.

Seeing as I haven't built a system like this before I need some advice on what to buy, I don't have to use it all and I don't mind having ATi Graphics Cards.

In advance, thanks for the help .

I'm gonna go:

QX6700
Asus P5K-Deluxe
Muskin RedLine 4x1gig PC2-8000
SLI 8800GTX watercooled
1K Enermax
A very nice watercooling setup and the case of your choice.
Also how ever many hard drives you want in a raid1+0 or whatever you prefer.

Theyre also the only quads out right now

Thats a pretty good setup, throw in a 680i board, 800 watt psu, and a lian-li or some better case, and some raptor x's in raid 0

I was looking at the Coolermaster Stacker 832 case, looks great. Does anyone have a Quad CPU on these boards?
