i am upgrading everything in my computer except for my psu's, disc drive, hard drive and case. I have an Apevia 500 W PSU and a 400 W rosewill PSU for my fans only. i have a 120gb WD HD

my case is a Rosewill TU-155

I will be buying a Graphics Card, RAM, Processor, MOBO and a CPU cooler. I would like to keep it under 600 bucks
this is what i am thinking....

Don't get the 7600 GS, get the 8600 GT. Just a few more dollars, DX10 capable, and a better card to boot.

Yea i agree, get the 8 series card, its just an all round better card IMO. apart from that, looks good

Yea I agree, and also if you want to save some money, You can go for the e6420, cuz the new e6600 dont OC as well as the old (g00d) ones.. mine is new and it is very vcore hungry. I have seen e6420 being the same speed as mine (sig) and lower vcore.. (like 1.2x vs my 1.475)

alright thanks man, appreciate it....but not many games support dx10 i spose i forgot to mention i game...but i still may concider it, especially when dx10 becomes more popular

Do not think of it as a DX10 card, think of it as a more powerful card then the 7600GS. The card will run games smoother in DX9 then a 7600GS.
