Chilled water vs. chilled air.

Everyone who knows me is aware that I chill my Bonnie heater core with a 5100Btu vertical flow window A/C.
While setting up my new C2D e6600, I decided to run an A/C duct via a BK plastic drink cup since this chip
idles @ 21ºC on stock air anyway.

My Opty 165 with Stinger V8 and chilled Bonnie, give the following results:

My C2D e6600 with the same chilled air ducted to it's OEM HS/F results:

Needless to say I can't wait to get this beast on water, no wonder she's a proven 4Gig O'clocker.

Yeah, must be the mobo as Core temp actually reads minus degrees on my Opty setup. My current ambient room temp is 20ºC.

so you have an air cooled 6600 at almost 0c using an air con unit? lol

update core temp to the latest version 0.95 beacuse i dont think C2Ds are recorenised(sp) properly in that version

Imageshack is being a pain ATM, so here's an old pic of my external WC setup before the WB was hooked up.
Now the setup runs a dual return Folger's res with the pump turned upwards and being fed by a 3" tube
from the bottom of the res.

When you have to reset CMOS due to major OCing, BIOS won't recognize usb i/o hardware.
Notice the blue/white wires? That's a momentary on CMOS reset switch which works on this mobo
because it only has a 2 pin CMOS header, as opposed to 3 pin.
