It depends on your budget. Personally i don't think two cards is worth it unless your obessed with detail and have to have the very latest and greatest.

8600GT Probably a good lower card. 8800GTS would be a solid card for good gaming.

What CPU are you getting? Please don't say Pentium. Intel Core 2 Duo would be the best choice. Unsure since you said 3.4 so i'm assuming you mean 3.4GHz Pentium

1950 pros are going for cheap but if you want something a lot better for a little more, go for the 8800gts .

8800 gts, 640 mb if you can afford, 320 meg is a good cheaper alternative. 8600 gt = 7600 gt in dx9 (so i'd go 7600 gt before 8600 gt unless you're getting vista for DX10 gaming)

I would go with:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121031

Very good card for DX9, but is about $40 more than a 7600GT

7600gt is about the same as the 850 in performance, with only advantage of sm3.0

I think it's better to get a cheaper motherboard and invest more in the video card.

What is your total budget, and what parts are planning to get??

Get a 8600 instead of 7600.
