what should CPU Temp be? whats the zone where its pushing to hot?

worried about my setup..got alot going for it to be on 1 360 rad, might buy a 480 lol

For your CPU, max 60C at load....but correct me if I'm wrong. Above that it gets critical, I would not recommend that.

so under high load, safety wise you want to be under say 55c?

this cpu runs damn hot, lol
He's on a quad, so do not surpass 65C load. Quads can handle more than the dual cores.

Amw86, what are your current idle and load temps? Your processor's clock?

stock clock idle im seeing between 36c-42c

just got pc running today, finally had all the pieces and got vista installed haha.

i was hoping for some lower temps tho..i have side door off atm to...since i just installed network card

edit: just put side on, seeing +1c across the board, 37c-43c idle <case still hasnt heat saturated yet>

where can i dl ortho's or w/e is worth putting into load to check temps

Run a quick test and tell us what your load tems are

EDIT:So at stock idle is around 40, maybe load gets around 55. So that means you can't OC that much You should get aircooling, atleast it coools better than what you have now.

Run orthos 2 times, then choose first 2 cores for first orthos and the 3th and 4th cores for the second orthos. That way it will load all cores.

That is pretty hot, that means you can't OC at all. Tha sucks
