CPU Temp - Page 8

Yeah at least a 360 on the Quad would be good and if you don't mind higher cfm fans a 240 on the GPU loop would be fine...If you have plenty of room stick a 360 on it to...Thats the only way I would run a GPU or anything else is in a loop of its own, it gives me a head-ache thinking about anything in the CPU loop besides the CPU... ...

would it be effective to just use one powerful pump and split the loops <except input and output of the pump..but cooling would still be hitting 2 different rads after the heat? or does the water heat saturate to bad and just better to run two closed loops?
I would run 2 completely seperate loops.2 - 360's would be fine....It will just cool a lot better...Use some T-Lines and that will save you a lot of room....If cost is a factor you might combine it all into 1 loop but the cooling will greatly suffer IMO....

cost isnt really a factor, more just ease of setup is all im thinking.

what all are you saying to use t-lines for tho? and doesnt y flow better than T? or are you speaking of something different than the fittings?

i still cant believe saying ira x3 worked...lol

The Thermochill will cool better with lower cfm fans...70cfm and up I would go with the GTX.....

I meant that you could just use T-Lines instead of two res's it would save you a lot of room...They just bleed a little slower then a res put them right before the pump just like a res..

Amw86 check out the link below on your case mod I found on the TJ07. So many options you should not have a problems with the rads and loops. Can you show pictures of your case so we can all understand your layout better? This guys case below almost has the same setup as you, the only thing is you have a Q6700 he has a E6700. He's running a BlackIce GTX 120.4 for the GPU cards and for the CPU he running a BlackIce GTX 120.2. So as you can see you should add a 120.2 rad just for the CPU keep the 120.3 for the cards..

ah yeah, i see what you mean, i think i might just use the mini double outlet res from dangerden..or would the water connection carry heat and ruin double loop? i figured since its just bleed and fill it probably wouldnt effect temps much..

my setup is basically identical to the one you linked, except my rads 360 not 480, and i dont have those big res's in there.

to the layout he has on the first page that is

i cant put the pumps in any drive bays tho because my hd's are in there..and im not going to go to an extreme as he did to get it all in..i couldnt anyway because id still only have 2 5.25 bays to use even if i did remove them...well if i remove my double 5.25 fan controller and replace it with a single..i guess i could..or not at all if i hook it up to an external psu im just going to run them straight from 12v molex

i really dont feel like chopping away at the inyards tho and id still be short on room, no way to fit 2 360 rads in there really...

you could put a 480 and a 240, but i really dont feel like a 240 is going to cut it for either loop by the sounds of it

ill try and snap a pic of my case, if i can find my camera <probably cant> but i warn you..my cable management hasnt been done yet

either way it looks like the guys paint drawing on first page there. - 1 one pump in the drive bays

i just installed pc probe2 from asus..anyway as soon as it started up it started beeping its ass off at me

says the warnings are..

1.2VHT voltage, and SB Core Voltage

BTW the voltage reading for the 1.2vht is 1.52 and the SB core is 1.73v can any of you help me out with that? and is it possible that the voltage is to high and is helping add to my heat problem? i wish i wasnt a newb!! ahhhhh

i feel bad, because you guys are great and i really havent contributed enough to this forum

Check your voltages in bios...They should be in "Jumper-Free Configuration"...Don't feel bad Man we just like talking about this stuff anyway or we wouldn't do it.. ..
