Cooling 6600gt AGP

Thread Starter
I searched many info for a good 6600gt cooler.

I found many stuff:

NvidiaSilencer,
No agp version

Zalman,
VF700-Cu, If you put it on the AGP version, you can't put the ramsinks on, so you still have nog good cooling

Do you know good cooling (No Watercooling) for my 6600gt agp. I want a cool core, and cool memory, the heat of the memory is holding my overclock back.
My record now is > 9079-3Dmarks03... I want to ****ing overclock it 100% and try to reach 9500/10.000

I noticed that the compatibility list for the Zalman installation on an AGP 6600GT says as long as the HSI heatsink (the small heatsink closest to the gold tabs that insert into the motherboard) is not structurally part of the main stock heatsink, you can install the Zalman with no issues, except for it hanging off the edge of the card about 30mm.

They note that installing the zalman will result in 5-10 degree drop in both chipset and ram on the 6600GT AGP.

***EDIT

After more research, it seems the ramsinks need some modification when using the zalman...hmmm, I'll keep looking.
