Thread Starter
the rig this power supply would be for is

e6600 oced to 3.4ghz
2x 1gb of gskil hzs
evga 680i A1 mobo
evga 8800gts 640mb
fatal1ty sound card

I had been looking at getting the corsair 620hx which is $149.99 because I have heard many positive things, just wanted to check with all of you to see if there is another very popular PSU you all like more than that one.

Sunbeam Nuuo... I think they made a 600W variation of it.

EDIT: Note: I said I think they made it, I'm not sure.

I'm a Forton fan The FX700 ought to be below 150, and it is over 85% efficient.

Antec True Power Trio 550W $80.82
  • Seasonic OEM
  • Claims to have three +12V rails, but actually only has one (42A)

Corsair HX620W $144.90
  • Modular
  • Seasonic OEM
  • Claims to have three +12V rails, but actually only has one (50A)
  • Suitable for SLI and Crossfire (not necessarily G80 or R600 and up)
Seasonic M12 500W $132.99
  • Modular
  • Claims to have four +12V rails, but actually only has one (38A)

Cooler Master iGreen RS-600-ASAA $94.99
  • Acbel Polytech OEM
  • Three +12V rails (38A combined)
  • Suitable for SLI and Crossfire (not necessarily G80 or R600 and up)
Ultra X-Pro 600W $129.99
  • Andyson OEM
  • Single +12V rail (36A)
  • Suitable for SLI and Crossfire (not necessarily G80 or R600 and up)
Tagan TG600-U25 $129.00
  • Topower OEM
  • Four +12V rails (48A combined)
  • Suitable for SLI and Crossfire (not necessarily G80 or R600 and up)
Tagan TG600-U35 $149.00
  • Topower OEM
  • Same as "U25" version, but with 135MM cooling fan
  • Four +12V rails (48A combined)
  • Suitable for SLI and Crossfire (not necessarily G80 or R600 and up)
Silverstone Olympia OP650 $127.00
  • Single +12V rail (54A)

Silverstone Olympia OP750 $149

Zalman ZM600-HP $119
  • FSP OEM
  • Four +12V rails (42A combined)
  • Suitable for SLI and Crossfire (not necessarily G80 or R600 and up)
High efficiency, but not recommended for higher end SLI/Crossfire due to 240VA limited rails and/or low combined +12V:

Seasonic S12-600 $139.99
  • Supposedly has two +12V rails (18A each, 36A combined)
  • Suitable for ANY single video card
  • Not recommended for SLI until someone can confirm that the two +12V rails is actually just one.
Enhance ENP-5150GH $68.51
  • Has two +12V rails (18A each, 36A combined)
  • Suitable for ANY single video card
SilverStone Element ST50EF-Plus $80.75
  • Enhance OEM
  • Has two +12V rails (18A each, 36A combined)
  • Suitable for ANY single video card
Cooler Master iGreen RS-500-ASAA $79.99
  • Acbel Polytech OEM
  • Has three +12V rails (6A, 13A, 14A, 33A combined)
  • Suitable for ANY single video card
Suggestions welcome!

Criteria:

At least 30A on the combined +12V rail
Confirmed 80% and better efficiency

For SLI/Crossfire recommendation, needs to have at least 34A on the combined +12V rail and have either just one +12V rail or three or more
Have a look see at this, prices are a bit outdated, but the info is great.
