Speedfan wont control my fan speeds?

Thread Starter
I can not get SpeedFan to control my case fan speeds. It used to, but if I recall correctly, it stopped doing it sometime after I reformmatted my computer. Ive disabled 'Cool n Quiet', and adjusted other things, but it doesnt seem to work. Would overclocking have any effect on this? Anyone know why it's not running right?

Thanks!

Maybe try reinstalling speedfan?

Has anything else change in your system besides the reformat?

Are the fans actually plugged into the motherboard, if they are not speedfan can't control them.

Speedfan can control 4 pin fan connections, most of the time it's the CPU fan.
