Even so, the fact that this patched game can only be played at 1,024 x 768 with no anti-aliasing on ATi's latest and greatest card is still a massive disappointment.
Woah people, hold on, why is this ATI's fault? Not to mention the article states that this is better than nvidia (so why all the ATI sucks if NV sucks worse) but besides that at what point does the software company become responsible for crappy frames. If you can't program a game to look good on the latest and greatest hardware with decent frame then something wrong. It's not ATI or Nvidia's fault these games get crappy frames on thier flagship cards, if valve can make CS:S run with high frames on a low end system and still look really nice then why can't everyone else get a agme to look good without needing quad-flagship cards to get playable frames at modern resolutions?!
