What does this mean?! BOTTLENECK!!!!!!!!!!!
PCI: 33.3Mhz
PCI Express: 100Mhz

However clock rate isn't nearly the only factor in speed between the two.

not too bad...but almost useless.

Most computers that have only a pci interface are too old not to bottleneck it like crazy...may as well get an old junky pci card.

Mine is 2004 and 2.6ghz.
I read somewhere that like 70% of OEM pcs pre mid 2005 had no AGP or PCI-E Slots (It was on a review for a PCI video card) So this card has massive appeal

To be honest with you...

I know kids who bought dells and then learn no video games on integrated..

So thery buy a pci card.......

It is simply for noobs/minor gamers that didn't know better.

Its a small but great market to tap

pci is more like 33/66/100 and for some weird cyrix computers it was a little different. you also have the pci-x I believe it was called back then which in a nutshell was two pci slots for one card and I think that ran up to around 133mhz.

pci-e usually is only at 100mhz stock. at least that is what my p5b shows it as with a max clock able to be 150 in the bios though 115ish is the maximum stable I have been able to hit

It's hardly a niche market, there are millions of people who have ****ty computers they will want DX10 on, there are lots of people with limiting mobos, such as inexpensive or server mobos, limiting budgets, and more
