I was wondering what more computer enthusiasts think about this motherboard? To me, I think it seems fine, of course there's the cheaper version, but I am asking about the board, in general. (It's only that pricey because it comes with a few more components which is a bit silly. ) From the reviews on newegg.com, it seems to be a good overclocker? Does anyone have this board? Maybe you can give a tip or two on this board.

I'm using this board. It's working great for me. Very stable overclocking, I've got E6320 running at 3500 (500 * 7), and there is still some room left for me I think. Also I must say that the RAID controller is working nicely as well, the last nVidia RAID controller I used wasn't all that great and a bit unstable, but so far this one seems to be great.

So I'm very pleased with this board.

The only thing I do not like about this board is that, there's only one IDE slot... Do you know any other board that can compare to this, but has 1 more IDE slot? I really like this motherboard from all the reviews, and it's layout.

Just taking a closer look at it, it mostly concentrates itself on SATA types of drives. That's actually awesome, but have to switch most of my drives to SATA compatible.

In the long run, this board will be good? I'm thinking of waiting a bit longer until I have some more money to purcahse this board, hopefully it will be pretty good during that time and I can use it as a mainboard and continuing upgrading it with newer parts and keep it overclocked stabily. You think this would be good? Because after this computer, and if it works very fine, I'm not going to build anymore or switch to anymore. Currently, this is more of a future plan. I do plan on playing with it more with overclocking and modding and stuff like that, but that's later on.

I have the bfg version of this mobo and i like it. (exactly the same board) It had all the bells and whistles that you would need to play in the world of overclocking. I managed to make the list of the top 30 graphics puters with this mobo without really knowing what i was doing.... The only bad thing i can report is that if you run sli, you only have one pci slot open due to space hogging 8800's.

I had the AR version. The layout is great and the package is nice.

The board booted first time but after installed the graphic drivers I had random reboots due to the video drivers. I installed these again and there was no problem booting. On my board the tempreture was reading way higher than it was. Unfortunatly within a few boots my memory was dead.

I got the current board I have now and the memory replaced, and no issues at all now, other than I cant overclock that well. The supplied Fan is very noisy and was louder than my GFX card and stock e6600 HSF put together.

The reviews on these boards are good but there are some that get unlucky like myself where hi voltage memory moduals tend to blow, more so on this board than others so it seems.

I've read one or a few of reviews and it said that it was hard or it didn't really work well with the SLI for the evga 8800, so I'm not sure. Has anyone here done SLI with this board with the large graphics cards?
