BIOSTAR TFORCE 550, can it fit an 8800GTS

Thread Starter
I was looking at the pictures of these two products:

tforce 550

Leadtek 8800GTS

and it seems like the HS+fan on the mobo's south bridge might be in the way of the 8800's cooler. Does anyone have any first hand advice for this? If I get a new computer, these two will both be key components (and from the looks of the popularity of the tforce 500 I don't want to NOT use it).

Thanks for reading, I'm new to the forum and hopefully I can get this assured.

youll be ok, the ridge where the 8800gts cooler stars hovers just above the s. bridge. you will be covering the top part of the fan though with the 8800.

Thanks a ton, although, do you think this will dumb down any overclocking because of the two intense heat producers right on top of each other?

Here's a picture of my 550 and GTS, I added the Thermalright HR-05-SLI which fits perfect as you can see... you may want to consider investing the $20 for it when you have the cash. Make sure you have good case airflow especially down in that hot area beneath the video card and you should be in good shape.
