Is this a good choice for tv, pc, and xbox?

I would buy one slightly higher in resolution, but it will still look very good if you don't blow the picture up too gigantic.

$1,399.99? Steep. It looks like it would be a pretty good projector (except for the price) but you should take a look at Lumenlabs great evo projector (great for the price especially) http://www.lumenlab.com/. If your into DIY you should check out their awesome forums you can learn alot and build a great one for extremely cheap given the retails equivalent.

Do you own one of these, I have a friend that loves it, but it pops bulbs quickly.

Replacement bulbs are pretty cheap for the evo projector (around $30 I believe compared to retails usual 100's of $'s) They advertise "lamp life of 6000 hours". I myself do not own one but I would like to. Read alot of good reviews about the projector.
