yes it does, doing something online that you wouldn't do in real life is just as retarded as your previous comment!!

how are we being naive because we dont agree with you? my guess is because IT IS personal opinion so quit pushing your views on us all and let us make u our own mind would you?
oh and since when did sales figures make things cool? m$'s sales figure must be imense but they aint cool imo...... see where im going with this?
just looks to me since you've got your macbook everything apple must be sweet and your intent on telling everybody about it.

Apple is still a quality manufacturer, even if they are being hyped a bit more than any other company would be...

Oh ya, and is it wrong for Jobs to make money off of something his company invented? lol. Sorry, but I lol'd a little at the title....of course he's making money..that's what his employees are paid to do...make him money.
"Coolness" is ALWAYS in the eye of the beholder. People thinking something is cool does not make it so. People believing in God does not make him exist. So yes, it is an opinion(this does not make your main argument false, if society views it as cool then it definitely makes a difference and will certainly help the company).

As for the last bit, no, Apple employees are paid to make Apple money. Not Jobs. Jobs might be the head of Apple, but Apple is a corporation, and Jobs only owns a small percent of its shares now. If Apple employees were so much under Jobs' power, then there's no way he would have been ousted from Apple in the 1980's.

Apple's market cap: 107.68 Billion USD (money.msn.com)
Jobs' net worth: 4.9 Billion USD (Forbes)

Still the iPhone lacks the storage needed to accomplish the tasks it has set out for.

As well as NO 3G!

As well as you would need a nice 40$ / month data plan unless you sneak the media net package but I don't know how well it would work.

Besides I have heard not removable sim and no replaceable battery.

now....go microsoft go!! make your own phone and vendor to all phone plans, and get amd/nvidia involved so u can get "intense" graphics/processing power on the phone!!!, shoot man u gotta make a pda phone for $400-$500... i love competition....

and a couple post up, apple is only big because schools buy Macs becuase their easier to tend to, and the fact that every1 keeps on buying ipods(im not saying ipods suck...)!!!!!(sigh...ever since 2003 when ipod became a really big hit because it's "my friend has one so imma get one too because it's so small" idea...but i gotta give it too them and say nice job!!! shiet, owning over 77% of the portable music market share...big winner there!)
