There are some quirks to deal wit on every MB.
1. Some like the on the fringe higher speed on the HT (LDT)
2. Some like upping the PCIe to as high as 112.
3. RAM timings can be a pain sometimes and having one out of sync can cause a lot of havoc. Especiall the GSkill DR500 HZ on Asus 939 MBs.
4. Try to work the RAM @ a default of 200MHz or DDR400 with 2.8-2.9v. From what I recall, that MB don't play so well with dividers.
I do recall another member recommending the TRFC @ 105 or 120 ish for good results. Worth a try.

Good Morning,

I was playing around few mins ago with my Bios and yes “The Duke” is rite GSkill Rams wont not so nicely perform on a Asus Board, as on my Old and by now dead Abit board.

Do you guys know what Bank A /Bank B DDR Clock Skew is???, what effect has it on the overall OC. I think it is very sensitive thing, because if I get my hands on that on set it on Advance750 or more things wont work anymore.
By the way my CPU-Z version 1.40, shows me after successful OC (2.4Ghz), just 1.15Ghz how comes?.

Or has this to do with the Cool and Quite function?,if yes this would mean I OC my board in the Bios but Windows wouldn’t start with that configuration because of the inbuilt Cool and Quite thing in my CPU?.....

Socket A CPU and Boards was so easy Rest in Peace 

NEver played with skew on mine to be honest, but had no probs with G.Skill on the same board in the past either. As for cool n quiet; disable it in Bios, as I have the same no boot problem when it's enabled
