Its been a while since I used this to oc with probably since my 6800gt agp card
thanks
The most important overclock is only 3d performance, however you're probably won't see a difference if you overclocking the other two columns. Rivatuner combines all three.

Just the Performance 3D. In fact, you might want to underclock it a bit in 2D mode, just to keep it a little bit cooler.

Are you sure that actually cools it? I not so sure about it...

Well gave it a quick run, the gpu went right up to 650 with ati tool so thats good. The memory topped at 846 with atitool so not so good from what I have scene around. I took these settings and put then in rivatuner and just set the 3d performance for the gpu and Ill try that for now.

I know with the old cards like my 6800gt agp it could clock higher if you only used the 3d performance setting but that was a very different card.

Anyways just got this in am3, my 6600 is at 500x8 (4.0ghz) ram 1:1 4-4-4-12

I'm currently at 660/2200
Your gpu is decent but you should be able to push that mem further

I've dropped a couple Cs from downclocking it in 2D.

Maybe its atitool that isnt grooving with it or something. I will try it again later these are just my first attemps.

Does anyone know how much you can adjust the vmem too by doing the pencil mod. I measured mine at 1.86v and was wondering what is generally safe to get it up to concervatively speaking

Hey, sorry for the late reply, I just got off work.

Yeah, don't worry about the "Save" option so long as you check the box to apply at startup. I don't have any of my settings "Saved", I just use the "Apply at Startup" boxes checked. It works the same. The "save" is for if you have different settings, mostly for OC since Fan speed is fairly simple to set, but it's there anyway.
