As far as I know, you are only allowed to bump your own thread every 12 hours. You can't expect a forum to be like a chat box.

Is it to much for you to wait 30 minutes for a response, rather then bumping the thread up forcing everyone to notice your thread every 2 minutes?

Your CPU scores could be affected by slow ram.

BF2142 really takes a advantage of 2GB of ram.

8500GT is pretty slow.. Despit being a 8 series card. Its the same speed as a low-end 7 series card If I remember correctly. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.. I'm not 100% sure)

You really need 2GB of ram to turn the graphics up.

I would try running a 3dmark06 and see what you score.

Edited my above post, I recommend running a 3Dmark06 and comparing the score online through the futuremark website.

I would be interested to know how much of a difference running the benchmarks in XP vs. Vista would make. I know Vista uses a bit more ram and resources in general than XP does and with only 1g it may make more of a difference than you think. Also you need to make sure all your timings are correct in the bios and not just in windows /shrug. Also do you have the proper driver installed for your processor?

And I think you might be stretching the truth a little bit there fragger... I would be interested to know what your settings are at lol.
