I neeed advice cooling my flashed X800 pro

I have this X800 card flashed to the X800XT in my kids PC. Well, my sons playing CS-S now and it heats up the card to much. What i want to do since i have an extra one is attach this cooler. It's not designed for the card, but, it will work if i can attach it firmly. What i'm looking for is the right epoxy or glue to attach the bracket. What do you guys think? Would J-B Weld work? I'm worried about the heat.... Any suggestions? TY

Use super glue, my friend on old board chipsets, a dot in each mounting spot.

Ya, but, with a bracket there will be constant presure and weight pulling on it; plus the heat. There has to be something else out there?

Assuming that X800 is using the stock double slot cooler you shoulden't need an aftermarket one since you didn't say your OCing into the red.. If its using that smaller one of the X800GTO2 then look for a cooler thats DESIGNED for the X800.. don't even bother jamming/gluing on a cooler that aint made for it.. its like forcing a socket 939 cooler on a 478..

I used JB-Weld and dropped 22c with the Thermalright cooler; i think the stock fan was starting to die on me. As for

It may not seem right to you, but, i roll that way. I'm not here to learn to keep everything stock as specified!!
