Oh no trust me noise isn't an issue to me for a few reasons, one being that I have my headsets on most of the time listening to music or playing, two being that the surrounding noise in my house is usually around 50dbA anyway, so the actual noise from the fans is going to seem lower.

The purpose of the controller was merely a tool to strike a balance between system pressure when I'm not gaming or benching, it's not really because I need a quiet system, I mean really, someone planning on installing 8 120mm to run at the same time doesn't really worry about noise at least not in my case. The other thing I didn't mention is, after installing the fans and ONE optical drive, I will have only ONE 5.25" bay empty, I "could" leave it empty but I thought an LCD screen would complete the front, that's why I'm willing to sacrifice controlling the front fans.

I might get the kama-meter or that Sunbeam controller and use them for the sake of having temp monitoring and a nice LCD on the front.
