The only way you will get true flat response is to use a Real Time Analizer RTA, then it will take the acoustics of the room into account.

Horns can sound great, and are nice to listen to, but you will have problems picking up freq's around 20khz, unless they are very expensive horns.

Don't forget that the analyzer is limited by the frequency response of the microphone.
