calm down, lets not argue boys
gonx never said that his rig was superior, just stated that he didnt believe it does 22s.
you're hijacking my thread to argue a point that never needed arguing

I could go on by reverse > my harddrive > yours, my PSU > yours, my memory > yours, my motherboard > yours, my cooling > yours etc, right?

And still, just because yours is dual core doesn't mean it's "**** POWERFUL", or 2.6x2 GHz (meaning 5.2 GHz) Mine is at 2.92 GHz and I will still spank your score in SuperPI

Just stop it now

*EDIT*

And yeah, actually now that I think of it, you attacked me liberately.

22 sec? LOL 6000+ at 3.3ghz == 26 sec pi
Also, I can play all my games fully maxed on my 7600gt, so why upgrade? I will be getting a gts 640 or gtx very soon, but just saying that there is no reason to bash a 7600gt.

he does have a point, and, since the thread you are calculating in superpi is single, we dual core users, do 1 thread on each core, single core usersonly do 1 thread so it is pretty much even, it has more to do with clock speed than how many cores, and at similar clocks, ram speed, cache size etc comes into play....

let me know if im wrong an i'll edit this coment

That's my point. It's the best bang-per-buck solution

Smallia, dual core to single core doesn't matter in most benchmarks.

yeh, thats kindof the point i tryed to put across, just didnt do it very well, especially since superpi makes each core do the same work as 1 single core, so is the same, if anything single core probably has an advantage at higher clock speeds.

Yeah, the advantage over single core from dual core is that the temps are 10 times better
