Non stop beeeeep! - Page 2

Thread Starter
I just read from http://www.directron.com/freqasquesto.html that a non stop beat with intervals means a memory problem. Well now the question is how do i know whether its the ram or maybe the slots on the motherboard? any ideas?

Make sure your CPU is all the way in before you lock the socket...

My board did the same thing because I did that. :/

Nope, reseat your ram. Try to boot with only ONE stick at a time in the slot nearest the CPU.

Don't get a PC Chips Motherboard, that stuff is cr@p!!

If you have the mentioned BIOS... which should cover your PC!

AMI, AST, Award
1 long 2 short = vid card

Check in the BIOS to assure the vid card is enabled if you can....
You could, if you have one, install any PCI vid card and the system should auto recognize you have one installed. But if you do try that, dubble check the BIOS once you get in it for any related setting for an add on vid card.
